Benefiting
our Community
The Free Day of Yoga benefits our community
at large and us as teachers in a number of ways:
- People
who have never tried yoga can try it, for free.
- Existing
students can try new classes, teachers, and studios
to broaden their exposure.
- Participants
travel to Austin from all over Texas, expanding our
yoga community.
- It
raises the visibility of our teachers and studios.
- It
gives teachers exposure to a large number of new students
(some classes have as many as 100 participants!).
- It
gives teachers the opportunity to give back to our
community.
- It
showcases the tremendous diversity of teaching styles,
quality, and talent in our city.
- It
builds community between and among teachers and students.
- It's
fun!
